I had the opportunity to give a lecture during the I Seminar of Administration and II UCP Business Round, with the administration students of the UCP College. The event took place on September 25 and brought together professors and university students in search of an exchange between the academy and the market.
The result couldn’t be any different. It was enriching to talk about my passion that is hospitality, my trajectory and the importance of hospitality. I addressed the theme “Quality management for a successful trajectory”, reporting the real restructuring that began in the Jurema Águas Quente Complex as a tourist destination.
There were several changes, including a repositioning process that included review of the name and brand, a new team of managers, standardization according to the best practices of the resort sector, among others. Another decision was the entry into the timeshare market, joining more than 4.3 million hotels and resorts in 110 countries operating in this modality.
In addition to several operational, team and empowerment restructurings, we inaugurated on August 1, 2019 the Jardins de Jurema Convention & Spa Resort, with about 40,000 square meters of built area and investments of around R$ 120 million. The result is an event center with ten rooms equipped with the most modern in technology, allowing adaptations according to the needs of business customers.
All my explanation only makes sense because I am surrounded by professionals who have also believed from the beginning in this project, having a broad and shared view of where we can reach as a tourist destination.
