What is the key word for success in 3 words? People!!! People!!! People!!!

To be a good leader, a good manager in your profession, in hospitality, you have to be a great listener. Listen to your team, listen to people, leave them at ease and know what your employees have to say. As a hotelier, be extremely generous in compliments and recognize people. NEVER openly criticize the people who work with you and for you. NEVER lose patience and be QUICK to applaud the result your teams perform in your management. Usually, we don’t need to tell people when they make mistakes because, most of the time, they already know. People THRIVE with appreciation, praise and recognition.

Competent people are not only crucial elements for any hotel company, they are the company itself!!!

I thank each and every one of you and your BRILLIANT teams for allowing me to be a part of each other’s lives throughout this WONDERFUL year.
